STOCKHOLM, 5 July 2018 – Having managed Chinsay as CEO since her inception, Dag Sundén-Cullberg, founder of Chinsay, will from the 1st July 2018 assume the role as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He replaces Björn Engblom who will continue as a board member alongside Carl Palmstierna, Markus Gnirck and Thomas Nilsson. In his new role, Dag will provide guidance on strategy and be available to support the incoming CEO on high-level strategic planning and raising Chinsay’s profile.

As of 1st July 2018, Chinsay’s new CEO is Colin Hayward, previously Director of Product Strategy and Managing Director of Chinsay in Singapore. Colin is directly tapped-in to the fast-developing technology eco-systems in Singapore and is instrumental in developing Chinsay’s product vision. Colin’s new role is a natural development in Chinsay’s continued journey to provide powerful technology platforms that enable corporations to digitalise their core trade processes and utilise proprietary data to make faster and better business decisions. Colin will be responsible for the day-to-day management and decision-making for the entire Chinsay organisation globally.

Dag: “I am very pleased that Colin takes over the daily management of Chinsay. The technology landscape of the global trading community is moving at an increasing pace and it is now the right time for a different skillset at the helm of Chinsay. Colin has the full trust and support of Chinsay’s board and we look forward to working with him to continue Chinsay’s successful growth.

Colin: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead the great team built by Dag and the Chinsay board. There are many challenges and opportunities available to us and our independence, product vision and long experience positions us well to help our clients maximise the value in every deal. These are exciting times for technology companies in the freight and commodity markets and no better time to be here at Chinsay.
